Program Description: The CIB is proud to offer financial support to undergraduate
students who are conducting biotechnology research in a
USU laboratory. We anticipate that this will be an on-going
program to support undergraduate students who demonstrate
exceptional promise. The funds will be awarded to research
students: a) who are outstanding scholars; b) who show
unusual promise in research; or c) with special needs.
Funding from this program may be used for undergraduate
student salary in direct support of research efforts. It is not
to be used to replace an existing undergraduate fellowship
or other salary sources nor to be used for course fees. The
money will be available for the 2008/2009 fiscal year.
