Undergraduate Internships
The Center for Integrated BioSystems offers a research internship program for USU undergraduate students who are actively pursuing agriculture or life science degrees. This internship is a structured educational experience within a semester or summer. The experience is crafted to be relevant to the intern’s stated goals within the research activities of the Center.
The internship will be conducted under the guidance of one or more professional life scientists. Students participate in weekly research seminars and group discussions, with the goal of presenting a poster at the end of the internship.
Program Requirements
Sophomores, juniors and seniors who are enrolled as full-time students at Utah State University are eligible to apply. Selection is based on a student’s credentials and enthusiasm for research. Applications are available from the advisor or peer-advisor at your home department.
The program will admit 3-4 students based on student interest and space availability at the Center.
