Graduate Training Courses
Proteomics
Lecture Instructors: Dr. Dong Chen and Dr. Kamal RashidDate and Location: June 27, 2006 at the Center for Integrated BioSystems, USU
Course Description
Proteomics is the study of protein pattern for cells, tissues, or organisms at any time point and has become the focal interest of many research areas, including cell biology, biochemistry and medicine. This course will include a brief introduction to the tools used in the proteomics study as well as hands on laboratory work. Students will learn what tools and materials are needed and how to set up their own proteomics study.
