The CIB offers Affymetrix GeneChip microarray services. Affymetrix GeneChips have been widely recognized as leaders in gene expression analysis. Highly reproducible, accurate and reliable, GeneChips are used around the world for a broad and expanding list of applications. This technology allows researchers to study expression for any number of genes in any model organism.
Services
Level 1: Full Service
Samples are received and immediately evaluated for quality and quantity. The samples are labeled and fragmented using Affymetrix Labeling kits. The labeled and fragmented samples are re-evaluated to ensure quality before hybirdization to Genechips. The samples are hybirdized, washed, stained and scanned. Internal quality standards are confirmed and data and QC reports is returned to customer.
Level 2: Minimal Service
Customer supplies labeled and fragmented samples. Upon submission we will evaluate the labeling and fragmenting of samples. The samples are hybirdized, washed, stained and scanned. Internal quality standards are confirmed and data and QC reports is returned to customer.
Level 3: Additional Services
- RNA/DNA samples can be quantified with the Nanodrop 1000 System.
- Quality of RNA samples can be evaluated using Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer.
