Bioinformatics
The CIB is involved in sequencing, genotyping, gene expression analysis and characterization of gene function. The Genomics group offers rapid turn-around and delivery on sample submission. Typically a DNA sample can be received, prepared and sequenced in as little as twenty-four hours. We strive for perfection in all our services especially when it comes to the Affymetrix microarray offering. When it comes to precision, the Genomics group at the CIB is a proven leader.

Next Generation Sequencing
New!New 454 sequencing services, utilizing GS FLX Titanium System, offer long reads, exceptional accuracy, and high throughput.
Affymetrix GeneChip® System
This system allows you to view a genome at a global level or focus on a specific subset of genes. Bioinformatics data analysis is also available.
DNA Sequencing
The standard turnaround, during a 5 day work week, is 24 to 48 hrs. after receipt of a DNA template.

The DNA Facility provides a number of different services for the automated analysis of molecular DNA markers.
