Fermentation and Bioprocess Lab
The fermentation staff at the CIB is available to partner with researchers to take a process from concept to realization quickly and efficiently. We offer production services in microbial fermentation and downstream processing to clients in all fields. Additionally, large scale trials capability at the shake flask and benchtop fermentor scale, backed up by the full analytical capabilities of the Core Labs, is available for optimizing parameters, screening compounds and answering a variety of other research questions.
Features
- The 1,000 sq. ft. fermentation suite is capable LS-BL1 production of recombinant products.
- Process scales range from two to 100 liters.
